What is Awarded?

AA/JR/O Champion and Reserve Champion Dressage

How do you Qualify?
-
MUST attend at-least 3 shows with the same horse and rider combo in the same category. For example: 3 shows doing a HT. 3 shows doing a dressage test...etc. The championship show counts towards this 3 show minimum and the championship show is open to all riders.

Must score at-least a 57% on the dressage test to earn points no matter the placing

Schooling Horse Fee: $25.00
*HRF Rule*

No more than 4 dressage tests per horse unless combined with a CT/HT, then only 3 dressage tests permitted.

Rail Classes, assisted classes, bareback dressage, freestyles, and lead line do not count towards that number.
Scratches:
-
If you scratch before times are posted there is no fee.
-
If you scratch after times are posted and before the day of the show, there is a $25 fee per scratched class/test.
-
If you scratch or are a no show on the day of the show, you are responsible for the total fee or fees of each class scratched.
*With all that said, if you have scratched after times are posted or on the day of the show, we invite you to come and school on the property at no additional cost given you had to pay a scratch fee.
*Please communicate with us so we can help you in any way we can.
Refunds: - Full refund for any reason before times are posted. - Full refund if Heather Ridge Farm cancels the show.

Class List:
Every class offered herin which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current federation rule book will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith.
Classes are run in their entirety; pinned 1-6 by division.

NO boots of any kind allowed.

Exceptional Rider Class: This class is for riders with special needs (not limited to physical disabilities only). Classes may be split between youth and adult if entries warrant. Western tack and attire may be used. Specific equipment needed for adaptive use to assure safety is permitted. A description of the adaptive equipment must be listed on the entry form with rider information. A ground person must be in the arena during the test.

Western bareback dressage test of choice: Scores/placings for this class are not eligible for horses enrolled in WHLPAP.
HRF Bareback Dressage

Riders from any dressage discipline may enter this class.

Riders may enter a test of choice to ride without a saddle. A bareback pad is allowed, a saddle pad is allowed, and truly bareback is welcome!
Assisted Class:
-
This class is for riders with special needs. Specific equipment needed for adaptive use to assure safety is permitted.

A ground person may be in the arena during the test.

These do not count towards NCDCTA or WHLPAP points
Freestyles:

Music must be on its own device and have bluetooth to connect to our speaker.

*Judged like pleasure class, on horse but first place will = 1 point, second place = 2 points, third place = 3 points, etc. Each penalty or fault in jumping = 4 points and lowest score wins.
