What is Awarded?
Champion and Reserve Champion
for
Adult Amateurs
Juniors
Open Riders
in
Dressage, Western Dressage, Combined Tests, and Horse Trials
How are points earned?
Dressage score MUST be 57% or higher in all categories.

CT or HT MUST be completed.
How do you qualify?
MUST attend 3 shows
with the same horse/rider combo in the same category and complete show without a whoopsie or technical elimination.

Special HRF Rules
No more than 4 dressage tests per horse unless combined with a CT/HT then only 3 dressage tests allowed.
​
Only allowed to do 1 CT or HT per horse.
​
Rail /Lead Line/Bareback/Assisted/ and Pattern Classes don't count towards the 4 dressage tests per horse.

2025 HRF Picnics and Ponies Challenges:
These challenges are about placings following any rider and horse team, whether you're an Adult Amateur, Junior, or Open competitor. Most points at the end of the season wins the challenge! Minimum of 4 shows to qualify.
Eventers:
1) Green as Grass and Starter Mounting Block Challenge
2) Beginner Novice Jump Standards Challenge
3) Novice & Training Jump Standards Challenge
Cowgirls and Cowboys:

Dressage Divas and Dudes:

Equitation Riders: (Wheel of Names Spin)
1)Dressage whip and Dry Erase Dressage Board
Points are awarded based on your placings, with no minimum dressage score required. For Combined Tests, Western Dressage, Dressage, and Equitation, the points are 6 for 1st, 5 for 2nd, and so on, while for Horse Trials, it’s 9 for 1st, 8 for 2nd, etc. Who will be the challenge winners?
